Denarie Taylor, who is popularly known as her stage name Bella Poarch and as a Filipino American artist on social media, is Bella Poarch. As of January 20 20, 2021, she was the most popular video on TikTok. In it she lip-syncs the British rapper Millie B's song Soph Aspin Send. The singer released her debut hit song Build a Bitch in May 2021 under Warner Records. She has over 66 millions followers by May 2021 which puts her in third place on TikTok ahead of Charli d'Amelio & Addison Rae. Poarch was raised by her grandmother in the Philippines. She stated in an interview on the H3 Podcast she was raised by her grandma until she reached the age of 3. Kenneth Taylor and Eden, an American ex-pat, adopted her. She explained that she worked on the family farm over her ten-year period. She is the older of two older siblings who have been adopted, and has one older brother Bryner. At the age of 13, the family relocated to Texas in the United States, except for two older sisters. The rest of the family stayed in Phillipines. Poarch was later an United States Navy officer and lived for several time in Japan. Bella said that her father had been abusive towards her and her brother, and she had no friends at the school. The career of Poarch began in April of 2020 when she started posting regularly on TikTok. The site gained prominence after many lip-sync videos which included her most viewed video featuring the lip-syncing Soph Aspin sent to Millie B. Following her TikTok achievements, she set up a YouTube Channel and a Twitter page in the month after her signing up to TikTok. Poarch also became famous with her alpaca stuff doll Paca. In 2020, she launched the limited-edition line of clothing RIPNDIP x Paca.
